Keep Up with the Ever-Evolving Requirements of MIL-STD-810

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (February 2, 2016) – IEST, an ANSI-credentialed and industry-leading standards development organization, announces a June 22 course at the IEST Training Center near O’Hare Airport, Understanding MIL-STD-810G Change Notice 1. The first change notice to version 810G is now released and includes significant revisions to both climatic and dynamic test methods.

The course will include the new information on additional guidance in combining procedures, a near total rewrite of mechanical shock, and many other essential points, including a greatly expanded section on the Life Cycle Environmental Profile (LCEP). Understanding MIL-STD-810G Change Notice 1 will cover the overall changes to the document and an overview of each of the 29 Methods in MIL-STD-810G Part Two.

Understanding MIL-STD-810G Change Notice 1 will be presented by elite expert Christine Peterson. Peterson is one of only three nongovernment employees to have her name mentioned in the recognition section of MIL-STD-810G. She served on the editing committee of the MIL-STD-810 working group for revisions F and G and has worked with companies implementing the test methods worldwide. Peterson received an Award of Excellence recognizing her contributions to the IEC maintenance team for climatics testing.
